Clay Shooting

Blue Creek Sport Shooting Complex will offer an abundance of clay pigeon shooting opportunities. There will be skeet and trap fields, as well as a sporting clays course. There will be two NSSA regulation skeet fields, and two more fields planned in the second phase of construction. Trap fields will overly the skeet fields. The sporting clays course will be a 10 station, 100 shot, NSCA regulation course. Two additional stations will be added during the second phase of construction. A NSCA regulation 5 stand warm up course is also planned.

• Monday-Thursday: Reservation only
• Friday-Sunday: 8am-5pm

Sporting Clays

• Member Price - $25 round of 100 targets (includes 24 extra targets per squad for show birds & broken targets) additional targets beyond 124 are charged at 25 cents each.
• Member’s Guests - same price, but guest must pay $10 guest fee.
• Guest not accompanied by a member - $35 per round of 100 targets (includes 24 extra targets for show birds & broken targets) additional targets beyond 124 are charged at 35 cents each.
• Punch cards - members only may purchase punch cards as follows:
    - 10 round punch card - $225 ($22.50 per round, 9% discount)
    - 2500 target practice card – $440 ($17.60 per round, 30% discount)

5-Stand

• Member Price - $6.00 per round of 25 targets
• Volume cards purchased for sporting clays may be used for the 5-Stand also.

Skeet/Trap

• Member Price - $4.50 per round 25 targets (includes 2 extra targets for broken targets) additional targets beyond 27 are charged at a rate of 18 cents each.
• Member’s Guests – same price, but guest must pay $10 guest fee.
• Guest not accompanied by a member - $7 per round of 25 targets (includes 2 extra targets for broken targets) additional targets beyond 27 are charged at 28 cents each.
• Punch cards - members only may purchase punch cards as follows:
    - 25 round punch card - $87.50 ($3.50 per round, 22% discount)
    - 2500 target practice card - $325 ($3.25 per round, 28% discount)

Skeet, Trap Range Rules

• This range is primarily for the use of skeet and trap shooting.
• Eye and hearing protection is strongly recommended. Blue Creek Sport Shooting Complex and its directors are not liable for injuries incurred by shooters.
• Shot size larger than 7 ½ is not permitted.
• Firearms must be pointed downrange at all times.
• Only shotguns are permitted on the range.
• Firearms behind the firing line are to be unloaded.
• Firing is to be directed only at clay targets.
• Firearms must be empty and actions are to be open when moving from one station to another.
• Empty shell casings are not to be retrieved until the round is complete and machines are turned off.
• All trash is to be placed in the proper receptacles.
• Absolutely no horseplay will be tolerated.
• Immediately report any unsafe behavior to range officers.

Sporting Clay Rules

• This course is primarily for the use of sporting clays.
• Eye and hearing protection is strongly recommended. Blue Creek Sport Shooting Complex and its directors are not liable for injuries incurred by shooters.
• Shot size larger than 7 ½ is not permitted.
• Only shotguns are permitted on the range.
• Shots may only be fired from a shouldered firearm.
• No more than 2 shells may be loaded at any time.
• Individuals must stay on established trails.
• If target thrower malfunctions or throws broken clays, do not attempt to service thrower. Activate flashing amber light switch, or move to next station.
• Golf carts must stay on established trails.
• Firearms must be unloaded and actions open when not firing.
• All trash is to be placed in the proper receptacles.
• Absolutely no horseplay will be tolerated.
• Immediately report any unsafe behavior to range officers.
